Founder/President
My name is John Elgani and I was raised in the basketball community in Orlando playing High School basketball at Timber Creek and East River. I earned myself a scholarship to continue my dreams and played college basketball for two years at the University of Maine at Augusta and furthered my education completing a bachelor's degree in Sports & Exercise Science with a Specialization in Human Performance. I have been coaching basketball for the past 8 years at various schools including West Ridge Middle, Downey Christian, Cypress Creek High School and currently at Oak Ridge High School. I have also trained professional and collegiate level basketball players in these past 8 years with 5 current overseas professionals, and over 20+ kids currently playing college basketball. Along with being the President of Sunshine Elite, my day to day career includes being a High School Dean for OCPS, High School Coach, Personal Trainer and dedicated family man with three beautiful daughters.

Who We Are
Sunshine Elite is a youth basketball program that focuses on helping athletes achieve their goals both on and off the court. With weekly practices, skill trainings and film sessions, our athletes are equipped with everything they need to be successful.
Program Goals
Our Goals are to teach, develop, organize and offer young athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills on the court while instilling proper work ethic and values off the court. We will be playing in "Live Periods" throughout the year to ensure that your players are seen by college coaches as much as possible.
